General Information
The borders of Angola remain closed. Entry to Angola is prohibited except for Angolan nationals and foreign nationals resident in Angola.
Domestic flights are permitted to resume from Sept. 14, and international travel is permitted to resume from Sept. 21. A negative PCR COVID-19 test must be taken no more than 72 hours prior to departure or arrival.
As of October, Angola's borders remain closed to foreign travelers.
Mask Requirement

Mask is required to be worn in all public indoor, public transport and certain outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
Internal Restrictions/Closures
Authorities in Angola have eased several restrictions related to the ongoing containment efforts of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), Sept. 9. However, they extended the sanitary cordon through at least Oct. 8.
The state of health calamity in Luanda and Canzego, Cuanza Norte Province has been extended through at least Sept. 8. Other areas of Angola remain under less restrictive measures.
The other areas of Angola remain under less restrictive measures as part of the country's state of calamity.
Those caught flouting lockdown measures in and restrictions will be subject to fines. Authorities may introduce new restrictions with little notice in the coming days.

Since June 30, International Flights have resumed for Angolan citizens, long-term residents, and exiting foreigners.
All air passengers arriving in Angola are required to have taken a coronavirus test in the 8 days prior to their arrival in Angola.
You should carry proof of your test result with you and will need to undertake 14 days of compulsory quarantine in a government facility or in a government-approved hotel (the latter at your own expense).
