General Information
Guinea has reopened its borders to foreign visitors.
On August 3, the Government of Guinea has announced that Gbessia International Airport in Conakry is reopening. Passengers must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at most 5 days before arrival and will be subjected to medical screening and quarantine for 14 days.
Mask Requirement

Mask is required to be worn in all public indoor, public transport and certain outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
Internal Restrictions/Closures
Authorities in Guinea have extended the country's state of health emergency measures through at least Sept. 14 as part of plans to curb the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). All restrictions associated with the measure will remain mostly unchanged.
The existing 0001-0400 curfew in Greater Conakry (Conakry, Coyah, and Dubreka) is in effect until further notice. There are no curfews in place outside of this area.
Places of worship and schools have opened in areas where no cases of the disease have been recorded in 30 days.
Capacity is restricted on public transport vehicles in Conakry; authorities also maintain the closure of nonessential facilities and businesses, and limits on group gatherings.
Airlines & Transport
Air borders gradually reopened since July 17 for international and domestic flights.
Air France, Brussels Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines, Emirates, will resume flights to Guinea.
Air France occasionally operates flights from Conakry to Paris. Brussels Airlines has suspended all flights to and from Conakry through at least September 1.
Land and sea borders remain closed until further notice apart from the transportation of goods; transporters will be subject to heightened screening measures.
