General Information
Sint Maarten (Dutch part) has reopened to tourists. Officials have permitted the entry of travelers from European countries and Canada since July 1st. Travelers from the US may enter Sint Maarten; however, they cannot cross the border into Saint Martin until further notice.
All arriving passengers must complete an online health declaration form 72 hours before arrival and must present a negative Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within 120 hours of arrival. In addition, travelers must obtain health insurance coverage. Travelers coming to St. Maarten from low-risk countries, such as Anguilla, Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saba, Saint Barthelemy, Saint Martin, and Sint Eustatius will be exempted from the mandatory PCR test.
Travelers entering by sea, or who are transiting through the island, are also required to provide a negative PCR test result and a completed online health declaration form.
US tourists are still not allowed to cross the border to French Saint Martin from August 1st due to a high number of COVID-19 cases in the United States. Officials in St. Martin had earlier warned that due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the U.S., the French border would close if the airport will reopen to U.S. visitors. - St. Martin Bans U.S. Travelers From Crossing French/Dutch Border
Mask Requirement

Mask is required to be worn in all public indoor, public transport and certain outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
Internal Restrictions/Closures
Sint Maarten lifted its curfew order on June 15, 2020. but social distancing protocols remain in effect when in public.
Wearing a mask is mandatory in all public places, airport, public transportation, supermarkets and in all areas, buildings and stores where social distancing is not possible.
Airlines & Transport
Since July 1, the Princess Juliana International Airport has been accepting international flights from Canada and Europe.
Starting August 1, all flights from the USA will be permitted to land.
Flight operations continue between Sint Maarten and several regional island nations and territories, including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, British Virgin Islands Caribbean French Overseas Territories, Caribbean Netherlands, Curacao, Dominica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia.
Travelers are to ensure that they have been present in these locations for at least 21 days before their departure; no quarantine is necessary upon arrival to Sint Maarten.

Information for Non-Tourists
Inbound passengers to Sint Maarten are required to take a PCR test within 72 hours prior to boarding and bring the negative test results with them. The ministry of tourism also states that incoming travelers MAY also be randomly tested upon arrival.
