General Information
At present Switzerland is starting to allow travellers from the EEA (European Economic Area) and some “safe countries” outside the EU.
Switzerland has a list of countries and areas with a high risk of infection. Travelers coming from areas mentioned on the list must spend 10 days in quarantine. This list is regularly updated.
For the latest updates, refer to these links:
Mask Requirement

Mask is required to be worn in all public indoor, public transport and certain outdoor areas where social distancing is not possible.
Internal Restrictions/Closures
Authorities have permitted most activities and businesses to resume, provided social distancing and hygiene requirements are implemented.
Authorities no longer recommend work from home, and social distancing measures have been reduced to 1.5 meters (5 feet).
Outdoor gatherings are no longer limited to 30 people; demonstrations are permitted to resume, though participants must wear face coverings, which are mandatory on public transport.
Airlines & Transport
Flights from all over the EU are flying directly into Swiss airports multiple times daily. Flights from the newly approved ‘third-party’ countries are also starting to resume.
Direct flights are coming in from almost every major city throughout the EU on airlines like: Swiss Air, EasyJet, Eurowings, Air France, Edelweiss Air, Austrian Airlines, and more.
